Fusion Technology Company, Thea Energy, Opens New HQ in Kearny Point
Thea Energy, a fusion technology company born out of the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, has officially opened its new 15,000-square-foot headquarters at Kearny Point. The move marks a major step in the company’s mission to commercialize fusion energy using its proprietary, computer-controlled planar coil magnet systems. By consolidating its engineering and research operations under one roof, Thea Energy is now equipped with the dedicated laboratory and assembly space needed to build and test technology aimed at delivering a carbon-free, sustainable power source to the grid.
Kearny Point plays a fundamental role in this expansion by providing the specialized, high-capacity infrastructure required for such a pioneering technological endeavor. With its high-bay ceilings and robust industrial capabilities, the site offers the exact environment needed to house Thea Energy’s massive magnet systems and growing team of engineers. We are incredibly proud to support Thea Energy’s growth and to serve as the foundation for this clean energy milestone. This partnership reinforces Kearny Point’s position as a premier hub for “deep-tech” innovation and the future of the green economy.
